Prof. Dr. Dipl. Psych. Eva Maria Jäger
Scientific Advisor

Profile
Eva Maria Jäger, born in 1967, works as a licensed psychotherapist in her practice for behavioural therapy (adults/children and adolescents) and as a professor at the Internationale Hochschule Liebenzell (IHL). There she co-developed and built up the master's programme “Integrative Counselling”. “Integrative” means, on the one hand, incorporating a range of psychotherapeutic tools into the counselling process and, on the other, connecting spiritual (in this case Christian and biblical) resources. In terms of content, it is also important to her to work “integratively” in the sense of an inner team and ego states.
Alongside her professorship at the IHL, she has held teaching positions at the Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität in Munich and the Munich Academy of Fine Arts (field: art therapy).
Focus areas
As part of a project on embodiment research, she is currently working on “embodied prayer”, with the aim of developing a differential series of exercises that connect physical and spiritual aspects (words from the Psalms), for use in everyday therapeutic practice to stabilise and regulate emotions and needs. With the help of the PST‑R, the exercises are intended to differentiate between different personalities and correspond to the deep structure.
